That didn't stop mine from working, just put them in a bowl of rice for a few days, not in the heat.

My earphones went through the the wash in my jacket pocket and worked perfectly straight away.

Don't like the new buds having a definitive Left and Right bud. Now yo can't just put in your earphones... You gotta look at what you are doing. Also means that volume has to be on your right ear.....

Jaysus. When I get a new Apple yoke, the shrink wrap is the first thing to go in the bin. The none-more-crappy earbuds follow soon after. I thought everybody did the same?

i think the apple ear pods are the best for me.i suspect the ones cpw are the ones that came with phones and they had them as extras. no complaints from me tho.

Awful things. A set of seinheisser are much better quality and not much more expensive.
These are the first things t o go in the bin with any new phone. The same with Samsung's.. The included ones are generally junk

True, I wish more companies would follow Sony and give actual high quality earphones with their phones.

The EarPods first issued with the iPhone 5 are a huge improvement than the original iPod earphones.

But all open earphones should be banned on public transport!
