For some reason I can't seem to wear under-wire bras after a while it gets so sore even if it's fitting right. I'm not exactly amazingly endowed in that department but they still irritated me! Then I tried ones without under-wire but it was bit inconvenient on a cold day because they didn't have padding . But then eureka, I discovered Debenhams did a range that were padded without under-wire and they are brilliant! Pity the range they do is so small. I am surprised that more people don't seem to have this problem. I'm just a freak clearly!

Where do you buy your bras?

Thought this would be better here than fashion.

Where do you buy your bras? I feel like I can NEVER find good ones! I'm small chested A/B in a 34/36 from store to store. I like the look of Penney's ones but they loose their shape very quickly. M&S have some nice ones but I want to start matching my knickers and bras but M&S only have a few sets.

I'm always envious of anyone under a DD in M and S, I find their range for those sizes in matching sets incredible compared to e+!

What M and S are you in? Have you checked them out online?

Debenhams are also good.

My closest one would be dundrum and town. Maybe their online sets are different to their instore ones. I might try Debenhams on the weekend but theirs can be quite expensive

Mad bra girl, I followed that link and I've been wearing a completely wrong size. You gots a new convert!

Of course, new size is 28E, which is gonna be bloody impossible to find...stupid tiny ribcage. *sigh* At least in the crappy wrong size I can buy it cheap in Pennys.

Got measured in Ann Summers thinking I'd gone up a size. Nope, gone down... 36D (she tried telling me I was a 34, the dig-in marks said otherwise...)

Trying on bras on the Continent is a pain in the arse. Even though they say the sizes are the same they are way off!

Got fitted in Peaches & Cream last week and my new bra is a revelation! Even after being fitted in M&S I never had one that fit exactly as it should but this new one is amazing. As soon as I have more money I'll be heading back in!

M & S bras although pretty, don't fit properly. The women in there can't fit a bra properly either. Debs have a great range, but very pricey compared to the UK and the fitters are crap as well. La Senza have a great range, but sadly they don't do my size.

I get mine online at either Bravissimo or Figleaves. Whenever I'm in London, I go to Bravissimo and get myself fitted. Wish Bravissimo would open a branch here!

Other than that - my bra's great thanks. Only take it off to go to bed!

Yes it sounds like your cups are too big. Arnotts are great for measuring if your in Dublin. I never buy a bra without trying it on as sizes always vary even within a brand.

I remember reading about a exercise item you could buy to help tone the muscles of the breast area. I meant to buy it but lost the name! Does anyone now of such an item? Or does anyone know any exercises us ladies could/should be doing?

Get yourself fitted properly! And yes, sounds like the bra might be too big in the cup. Drop a back size and go up in the cup. Don't forget no two bras are the same. You should try before you buy!
