Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Private School, department pay or school pay?

    Hi, I got a job for a few weeks covering a teacher in a private secondary school. Regarding pay, will I be paid by the department of education or the school itself. I wasn't told.

    You'll have to ask. If the teacher is privately paid then it will come from the school. Similar if the teacher is department paid.
