The purple JVC earphones in the Clarehall shop are 19 euros something. However, the pink ones are 6.50€. May be the sound is better on the purple one?

Anyone know where the self scanner price check thing is in tesco Clearwater? Going looking for jvc earphones

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,556 ✭✭✭Slunk

Just got two pairs of blue jvc marshmellows in Clearwater. They were marked at 29.35 or something but scan at 6.50. Blue ones. Tried a few others, pink and purple and they are full price. A few blue pairs left.
Sound is pretty average. Would not be happy paying near 30 quid for them. 6.50 is about right. In line control for calls and music is handy though.

Still a good few pairs of the pink ones in Douglas.
Marked at 13 - didn't scan them as I have the blue ones already...

lots of bargains on the holiday shop/summer clothing

    got last night -
    mens cargo trousers €7
mens chino type shorts in a check material €9
    mens board shorts €5
    mens swimming shorts €3.50
mens and womens flip flops (thong type) €1.25
mens sandals (leather look) were €11.50, now €2 (they are quite narrow mind you, but I think they might stretch out, worth a punt for €2 anyway!)
womens swimwear - lots of them reduced, bikini tops - reduced to €4.50, bikini bottoms reduced too - got a pair of black and a pair of red high waisted for €1.25!
Womens night gown - was €11.50, now €3.50
Womens sun hat - was €8.50, now €2
womens wide fit sandals (suede effect with flowers, various colours) €5
    womens sandals various styles €4.50
lots of womens summer shoes reduced to €5/6
womens linen look 3/4 length trousers - black €7 (also had them in a teal green and purple, really nice fit)

There were also some fab mens chino shorts in navy, khaki and stone marked as €5 but when I went to pay for them they have been recalled so they would not sell them to me. Was a tad disappointed by that, but never mind, still got great bargains.

Can I request that people who post bargains actually name the SPECIFIC TESCO BRANCH that they bought the stuff in.

This will eliminate the need for people to go chasing around all over the place looking in all the different Tescos and end up disappointed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,871 ✭✭✭Karen23

Guy in Ballymun today with a cage full of stuff putting red stickers on with reduced prices. Some was going on the shelf , some into the corner beside him. Another member of staff came over and picked up something he had put to the side and said '' you can't have them , they're mine ''

Perk of the job I suppose getting first pick but I didnt think he'd do it so blatantly with people standing there waiting to see what was being reduced.
