    Just spotted this thread and wanted to mention a great brocante/vide grenier/car boot sale/ antiue sale.
    it takes place in the French city of Lille on i think the first Sunday in Sept whih should be this Sunday

    it occupies 15 km of streets, lasts 24 hours, 3pm sat to 3pm sunday has anything you ever wanted , each in certain areas , dining stalls from every corner of the earth, and utilises the cities Metro ,underneath for ease of transit from one part to another.

    As I recall two million people visit Lille for it.

    A new indoor market has started up on East Wall Road in Dublin. They tried to hold a car boot sale there over the summer but it was very very slow so they didn't charge for it but now it's indoors! When I rang them they said it was €20. Anybody know if it's any good?
    I was in the warehouse a while back and apart from the car boot things the stuff was pretty good

    Lanesboro Ballyleague Annual Christmas Fair
    The Lanesboro and Ballyleague Annual Christmas Fair will be held in St.Mary's Parocial Hall, Lanesboro, on Friday 2nd December, from 11am to 4pm. There will be a range of stalls selling local home baking, local jams, free range eggs & mushrooms, silver and costume jewellery, goats milk beauty products, sensy flameless candles, books, bric a brac, Forever aloe vera products, christmas gifts, decorations, clothes & make-up, beautiful hand made cards and fab locally produced hand crafts. Drumsna Garden Centre will also be on site with fantastic garden arrangements / window boxes, graveside candles & flowers. Free car parking to rear of building (beside the playground).
