How would you go about learning karting if you wanted to become serious with it? Is there any training areas? I am currently in West of ireland

Join a club. Pallas Karting and Galway city karting both have tracks and may have insight on clubs.
Have a look here too www.irishkarting.com/starting_out.php

This is really a Motorsport question so moved from Motors.

Whereabouts in the west are you based? Have you bought a kart already or just getting the feel of it and learning the basics first?

Hi all, has anyone got any tips for senior rotax (165) dry gear ratios for Nutts Corner, Whiteriver, Athboy, Pallas and Watergrasshill. The MSI championship seems a bit of a 'closed' shop where trying to get info is concerned.
