Great thread. Some fantastic mysteries on here.
My favourite would be About Joyce Carol Vincent. I think there's more to this than meets the eye but we'll probably never know.

I saw that documentary recently on Joyce Carol Vincent. Very sad and it was mind blowing how someone could just sort of lay undiscovered for a period of 3 years before anyone would realise what happened to her in the first place. I think it was hinted in the film that she may have had some sort of fit, be it epileptic or something else, which may have contributed to her death, but ultimately will probably never know the full facts i guess.
A sort of mystery/disappearance i remember back in the early 80's which stood in my mind, as when my folks got cable for all the english channels, was the numerous appeals and reenactments on the news channels about the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh. The estate agent who went to show a property to a prospective buyer but was never seen again. Despite the police enquiries and numerous suspects, she has never been found... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappe..._Suzy_Lamplugh |
