Have an old PAYG vodafone sim card and old dumbphone (samsung GT E7376) I'm using for a project.

How do I find out the phone number of the sim card? I don't want to put any credit on it if I don't have to.

Maybe try putting it into the phone and ringing another mobile so the number will show up one it. Either that you could email the network of which the card it from with the numbers that appear on the sim card.

Thanks, but there's no credit on it so I can't ring any other number.

Thought there'd be some code to display own number or something.

You could put it into an Android phone and go to:

Settings > About > Phone identity

Or as above, email/call the operator the sim card number to find out.
