Another month is here so come on ladies and gents - lets get planning!

I am happy to organise a pub meetup for those who like that kind of thing. For anything else like bowling etc if anyone wants to organise then kindly go nuts :D

So I propose the pub meetup for Friday 11th May - any takers?? Speak or forever hold your peace!

Option 2: Book the May Special of €10.00 General Admission and receive a €5.00 Tote Voucher. Valid for Date Booked Only, Non Refundable or transferable. Book Early to avoid disappointment.

Ah flippin flip altogether, the 11th is the only Friday I'm away this month and me after getting excited in finding all the other geeks wanting meet other geeks...

If happystance changes the weekend I'll be there, if not I'll be at the next one.

So - how about a boards meetup for Friday 18th May at half 8 in the city?

    Any interest in this?

I would happily propose the Bodega again for this - any objections to that venue?

i object. its too expensive in there - i like getting change from a fiver.
hows about the old oak then move on from there?

edit: and wispyman, hows about changing the tile of the thread to The Summer Boards Meetup Thread.
There is not enough activity on here for one a month...yet...

    anyone can turn up alright.
sure everyone is nervous the first time until ya get to meet the people.
try posting in the general chit chat thread and get to know people and come along.
i know people enjoy the meetups more when their first one is an activity and not just the pub for drinks.
like bowling, pool or anything like that makes people relaxed naturally (without the need for alcohol) and you can enjoy yourself then before going to the pub.
at just pub meetups, new people seem like they stand around intimidated by everyone and then we rarely see them again. sure we talk to them, have a laugh and whatnot but its a better atmosphere at an actual event first.

    thats just my 2 cents.

and on that note...anyone interested in pool at the mardyke around 6-7pm on friday 18th?
