Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    For March's edition of Nightflight @ Grand Social we'll be celebrating 14 years of Downtownsounds.

    When Nightflight was still just a collective twinkle in our eyes, NF residents Pablo and Louche were, along with many others, part of the DTS crew, helping to keep the capital safe for disco, house and party all sorts.

    They did primarily via parties in venues like Ri-Ra, The POD and Kennedy's that included guests like The Unabombers ( Electric Chair, Manchester), Nicky Siano ( Studio 54) and Chicago house legend Larry Heard aka Mr Fingers.

    The sound of these parties has recently been immortalised on vinyl via the 'Downtownsounds Classics' series on Pablo's label Fatty Fatty Phonographics - including tracks by the likes of Daniel Wang, Ashley Beedle, Arthur Russell, Nicky Siano and Talking Heads' David Byrne.
