Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I'm starting my PGDE in Primary Education in Aberdeen in August 2010. Id like some advice on accomodation in Aberdeen, information on bursaries, or just living in Aberdeen in general. Myself and my friend are planning on renting a four bedroom flat, if there are any other irish students going over for a PGDE it would be great if you could get in contact, hard to know which spots are good....... :confused:

    yeah im headin over from eire to do this pgde

    from what iv heard because of the oil accommodation is a rip off. uni told me that if ur doing the pgde then they reserve like a whole block of halls for the pgde students but think its expensive too.

    so yeah im in same situation as u looking for a place to live butnot a clue whats best to do
