Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Just wondering does anyone think there is a point to these "members of a marginalised ethnic group"?

    Is it just a stereotype that all they do is beg or steal or do some of them actually work?

    I know that in my area if they go into the local shop they are quickly chased out with a broom, as even the toddlers shoplift their own bodyweight in food.

    I'm sure some of them work and contribute to society. Alas the actions of the majority blacken the entire race.
    I know that in my area if they go into the local shop they are quickly chased out with a broom, as even the toddlers shoplift their own bodyweight in food.
    Again the actions of the majority etc...
    But business owners use the ethnicity of consumersas to access their potential to shoplift/cause trouble and the like, much like police use ethnicity as a means of identification.
    Again I'm not saying all Roma people are beggers and theives, but they certainely seem to live up to their less then desirable reputation.
