Can't think why this orange beast didn't get any bids. Check out the button spacing on it among other things.

Lol it's been re-listed with one bid, has to be fake.

I thought it looked bad enough until you pointed out the button spacing. Wtf kind of weird freaky long fingered hands would you have to have to use that?

    Hands like mine probably,
    Mwa hahaha!

But seriously, it looks like crap but there is some dumbass out there and he/she will pay up for that monstrosity.

I love how any game or console more than 10 years old immediately becomes "rare". some of it is just sellers trying to maximise prices but on adverts especially there seem to be so many poor deluded souls out there conviced their NES or SNES is exceptionally rare. Makes me want to sit them down and calmly explain that a NES is not rare, its just old and that Mario Bros 3 isn't rare either its just popular, there are literally millions of the things out there.

    But they are rare!
And you might be lucky and buy the first one ever made!!!!

    MINTED!

I'll see your Speccy for 1,139.95 and raise you another Speccy, in similar condition, from the same seller, for a penny under 10 million of the Queens pounds!!!!
Someone doesn't know how to type numbers on their laptop! Speccy for 10 million GBP!

Completely worthless, I have a couple of various Spectrums including a 48k like that one in box and in perfect nick, I would find it hard to get 25 or 30 quid for it. I would not really sell my spectrums anyways unless they shot up to ridiculous prices of course.

I bet whoever was stupid enough to buy it from him on ebay wasn't stupid enough to not send it back and tell him to get a grip.

Ah, you see, he's looking for that price because he's soooo reluctant to sell, want's to scare off possible punters, it's all there in the ad, just read between the lines...

    I can see it now
Girlfriend: "Sell that f'ing thing now! I want money for handbags and shoes and fags!"
Boy: "I'll stick it on Donedeal ok? If it sells the money's yours but if it doesn't I'll be keeping it" thinks to himself "Mwa-hahahaha!"

When the correct response should be:

Girlfriend: "Sell that f'ing thing now! I want money for handbags and shoes and fags!"
    Boy: "fukc off"

Scene change to boy, on own, standing before his Mame cab but with no woman, he's unshaven, underwear unchanged for a fortnight, empty Cheesypuff bags everywhere...

So, much like the single lads here, waa-hey!

I'd sell Sera for a mame cab.

    ok I'm joking :P

    Let's face it,
She'd think about it if there was a frog/green themed NES/GB in it for her.
She's a dreamer but a pragmatist, all at the same time...

A nice looking DC with games for 100? That's not too bad at all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,688 ✭✭✭✭K.O.Kiki

I'd bargain him down to 70 at worst.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

Ditto what The Gospel According To K.O. Kiki (Psalms 15 thru 74) said. €60-70 is a good price for that lot I think.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,525 ✭✭✭✭OwaynOTT

That sega megadrive is back up on adverts again. The one that was for 200 quid before Xmas. Brand new and opened. Got it in the rage for 70.

Seriously? As the lads say I reckon 70 is the right money for it. Unless stuff is gone up again? In which case, yay.

I'd rather they put up the Saga Magadrive again, that looked like a one of a kind! ;)

Some people are tools, just because something is a little older doesn't make it super desirable... Unless it's me!

He knows what the megadrive is worth, as he so obviously got it in the RAGE for 70 bucks.
I just hate that carry on. It leads to others artificially driving up the prices. Which sucks when I wanna get summit on the cheap like.
Adverts is gone to crap. Use to get 3 or 4 things a month off it. Now be lucky to get one.

Sorry Ciderman but old is not desirable. :P

Looking at Rage on facebook today, seems very very expensive right now, certainly nothign to warrant a trip into town for me, I'd rather keep an eye on Adverts and bargain somebody down to an acceptable price, or walk away.
Journeying into town would only make me pick something up that I'd otherwise walk away from, simply because I wouldn't want to return home empty handed.

They are looking for €50 for a Nes, Snes or a N64, for €40 for a 'Cube, for €40 for a Master System or a Megadrive and €50 for a Dreamcast.
That's without any games, at all.
The only one there I'd pay is for the DC, mostly because of the warranty if it borked.
The rest I'd pick up at charity shops or Sunday markets for a lot less than the quoted and with a clatter of games for sure.
Frak all to go wrong with a cart based console, aside from the poor old Nes but that's easily treated with a new connector.
