    I use to a pretty bad stutter as a kid also have a very fast rate of speech to it sounded like babble. I took speech therapy as kid and I have not 100% but still okay I might get caught on certain word and I still talk fast often A weird thing when I talk to someone who doesn't know me they often ask where my "accent" come from. They don't here Florida accent, where I grew up but usually Scandinavian or other European country. Even people from that area do the same thing. Though it is usually not their country though, but could be a swede thinks I sound danish.

    I often wonder If is related to my speech problems. That is usually what I tell people. Has anyone else experienced this? Has there been any artices?

    The issue is that if you are not an English native speaker, there is a big possibility you'll have an accent issue concerning pronouncing certain words. It's pretty much natural and it's something that you have work on it in order to improve it. It's clear that based on the fact that you are from Europe, the accent problem that you are dealing with does not really have much to do with your speech disorder, instead it is attached to the fact that you are not a native speaker.
