My best mate had the Starmax Bomber.
Loved when he'd let me swap it for some of my MASK toys for a few days...

    And a couple of others:
    Heathcliffe and Marmaduke
    Garfield

    Gummy Bears

Can anyone remember a cartoon named "Prince Valiant"?
I remember there used to be a cheesey enough song at the start of it which went like:

"....and on this beach I see a million grains of sand...
    Out there,the truth lies,
Out beyond these barren surrounds,I cry without a sound.....
    "

Yep, I was thinking of this a few days ago. Initially thought it was Prince Valiant and the Knights of the Round table but it had the title The Legend of Prince Valiant.

    Once Upon a Time.... (Life)

I remember, I think BBC2 airing Once Upon a Time.... Space. Which was a real space opera of a saga.

Obsessed by space ships at the time, even though the 'story' plodded along somewhat.

    Opening was rather ace.

I was talking to some Dutch friends this evening. It seems Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds was a childhood favourite for them in the 80's as well!

They don't remember Lolek and Bolek or other Iron Curtain era cartoons, so the controller in NPO (their equivalent of RTE) mustn't have been a member of the local communist party.
