Thanks Championc, great spot. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to the Linux boxes but have been looking at them & was thinking this one is the best to go for (I wanted a dvb-t tuner as well as the dvb-s's). I've been looking at the big thread on this box that you started also, trying to get my head around that. Is there anything that this box doesn't have that a Vu+ Ultimo, for example, has? There is quite a price difference but to the uneducated eye there doesn't seem to be anything I think I need that the Amiko doesn't give me.

I wouldn't think so. Not difficult to do if that's what you want from it. For many people, Spark will be adequate so it will work straight out of the box.
