All I have been hearing about on TV and radio is the bad weather the country is having but here in Sligo there has been nothing but sun and blue skies for the past 2 weeks. Not complaining but why is it when Dublin gets bad weather the whole country is portrayed as same?

In fairness, it's not just Dublin gettin bad weather.

Perhaps, but most of west and north west seem to be okay and that never gets a mention on general forecasts, just a bit of a bugbear of mine!

It is probably something to do with the fact that the Greater Dublin Area houses around 40% of the population to be honest - naturally meaning it gets more airtime.
