Why haven't the online companies myprotein/bulk powders etc replicated the quest bar design ie very low carbs?

Not yet. Just saw them this morning. €19.49 for a box of 12.

Shrove = 15% off at the moment, so 5 boxes of the zero bars is working out as 82.85 euro = 60 bars

I received these today in Lemon Cheesecake.
They're yummy, but eh, let's just say I'm putting the ozone layer at risk...
(For the same reason I cannot use Optimum Nutrition's whey, but MyProtein's whey is fine.....).

So, if you have similar digestive sensitivities...... :p

Tried these, both Cheesecake and Cookies and Cream, very very artificial tasting, they're ok, but don't think I'll be ordering again, not for me!

I knows its a old thread but does anyone sell boxes of these as discount supplements dont seem to do boxes now of Quest bars. Every other site I found charge crazy prices

I used to love Quest bars, but then they started using sucralose and stevia. I have a reaction to sucralose and I am one of that minority of people who find stevia intolerably bitter in the smallest amounts. I can fortunately tolerate any amount of erythritol and xylitol and I have no particular problem with aspartame. I'd rather stay away from sorbitol, mannitol, and maltitol (GI upset).

    Any ideas, folks?

I think they also started using corn fiber/fibre which has lead to a lot of complaints also - not sure if there is still some old stock round.

Fulfil bars have completely overtaken quest bars for me. Taste and texture is far better.

Only problem with them is the maltitol - serious stomach upset for me :(

Also better quality protein in Quest too - whey concentrate/isolate iirc

Does that have any realistic impact though?

Just better quality ingredients I guess.

I only tend to have them as a back up/ on the move, but have tried a few of the fulfil bars - would still pick (and pay premium) for a quest bar tbh. Probably not much in it for the raspberry and strawberry ones, but haven't had a fulfil as nice as anyone of S'more, Cookies and Cream, Cookie Dough Double Chocolate Chunk quests. But I guess it's all personal taste.

Protein bars and cans of monster seem to be the ultimate yolo, gym rat trend at the moment.
