With ESB eCar ambassadors announced it would handy to have a separate forum for anyone interested in EVs.
Public awareness is growing.

And let me tell anyone interested there are already 6 charging bays in operation in Waterford, counting in 4 commissioned late August!

Nah, just can't be arsed, as I don't have an interesting/terminally unreliable car anymore. I built an electric bike and use that for most stuff now.

Righty. This has been discussed and while the idea of this forum is great , there just isnt the traffic () to justify a forum of its own... yet.

As it is, it does provide a lot of information to motors enthusiasts who might not be properly informed on EVs and having the discussion as part of the mainstream motors forum can only raise its profile and inspire curiosity.

Going to mark this thread as "expired" and not "rejected" as it is something we need to revisit in the future. feel free to nudge me in 6 months if I forget (and I will, so someone set a reminder now!).
