The latest and last season of Breaking Bad, Season 5 starts on TG4 on Thu, 21/3/13 @ 23.05.

    Fair play to TG4.
Why do they programme such a brilliant show at that hour of the night? Surely its worthy or a 9pm slot for example?

Couldn't wait for Sky and obtained the first half of the season elsewhere - worth a look imo, but nothing ground breaking.

Just be grateful it's on, took a long time for an Irish channel to cop on to how good this show is and they are still waiting in the UK for it to air on a TV channel (FX only showed S1)
I’ve seen shows like the Wire and the Shield shown at a later time than that too

Excellent two-season show about Chicago city politics with multiple complex arcing plotlines and very strong acting by all, especially Kelsey Grammer (Frasier) who won a Golden Globe Award.

Note: Start times in subsequent weeks may vary.

5 had the rights to S2 and dropped it after poor numbers on 5USA.

Plebs starts on ITV2 on Monday 25th March at 10.00pm

    The Inbetweeners meets Ancient Rome
The toga-heavy comedy tells the tale of two young men – Marcus and Stylax – and their "lazy slave with a major attitude problem", Grumio, who "try to get laid, hold down jobs and climb the social ladder in the big city – a city that happens to be Ancient Rome".

The six-part series stars Tom Rosenthal, Joel Fry and Doctor Who's Ryan Sampson, and features appearances from Sophie Colquhoun, Lydia Rose Bewley and Doon Mackichan.

Has been well received in the US for complex full characters and strong hilarious writing.

Despite having a successful career as a skilled obstetrician/gynaecologist, Mindy Lahiri is unlucky in love and desperately needs to get her personal life back on track before her friends and colleagues are forced to stage an intervention. Funny, impatient and politically incorrect, Mindy can quote every single romantic comedy starring Meg Ryan.

    Repeats on C4.

24 episodes in season 1. It's been renewed for a second season.
