No one here expected it to return for a second series and boasting about how you called it's cancellation is as if the rest of us were sure it was getting a second season and you were the lone voice of reason. Had they announced the cancellation after episode 3 or even 6 aired then you could gloat a little but no one ever saw the show surviving given how many viewers it lost over the first weeks. We knew it was finished we ju wanted to discuss the episodes without you posting crap about ratings and cancellation.

Must be like going into the soccer forum and posting I'm a thread following whatever team is bottom of the league and saying, they're 30 points of survival do they're relegated. Then a week later going back and posting, ara lads they're 36 points from safety and those numbers don't like.

The US version added nothing to the original and is no loss. I also doubt if the 1st season will be aired on C4 because of the following reasons

A/ It was crap
B/ The underage storyline, now with the Jimmy Savile story still fresh in people's minds. I was handled more graphically in the US version. Period.

I might if you actually call a cancellation before every major television site does and the show is actually cancelled.

It's nowhere near as bad as some make it out to be and lets be honest most people had their opinion made up well before it even aired.

I really don't see how the Jimmy Saville situation has any bearing what so ever on this and to try and make a link is ridiculous.

Some folk here liked it.

I look forward to making up my own mind from next Wednesday.

E4 at 10.00pm - the first 2 episodes

(I see that they are showing 2 episodes per week for the whole series)

Just noticed the show is on 4OD, much less easier to see all the dislikes on the new Youtube

So I have caught up with what was on 4od and I think it is passable. Not close to the original, every joke borrowed is done better in the English version, Neil is just awful in it and their different route with the underage joke was just disturbing.

It is watchable though, and it is a testament that I watched all of them.
