That's good to hear! At least you'll be able to enjoy it over there.

Yep, Product Manager in IT. Income tax here is way lower (I mean, a lot lower) so disposable income is way higher. And no road or motor tax and cheaper fuel and cheaper insurance ($505 for the Outback with no question of NCB.. not even an option on the form and a foreign driving license).

    To keep on topic:

    20131015_170548_zpsb6f4075f.jpg
Thats also SH1, highway through the mountains and by lake Taupo ("toe-paw").

More normal road than the high mountain stuff:

Note that my side of the road has 2 lanes, every ~5km the single lane on one side switches to 2 lanes for passing (2km stretch for passing then back to one lane), meaning they dont have to build 4 lanes over the length of the country (which is long) but just 2.5 effectively. So you are never stuck behind anything for long (its signposted too), just wait for your sides "turn" at the passing lane!

Road congestion and seemingly potholes arent a problem on the SHx roads, despite tons of huge MACK trucks carrying logs and crap.

Put this back on the road last August as my daily driver. A road-trip along the west coast had me wondering why it took me so long.

Myself and the brother nearly bought one in Portlaoise years ago, was great fun on the test drives but he wanted crazy money.

It is amazing what people value Cappos at - after all they are 21 years old at this stage - but that's rarity!

    Great little car though.

I have a strange appreciation for those things.

Probably because they remind me of the little toy cars you would stick a penny in the back of as a kid! :)

I was in a whacky races type event a few years ago & made a large silver clock work key which I stuck on the boot ... Looked very Noddy like
