Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Journalism/Journalism with a language

Well lads, im doin the leavin cert at the minute and thinkin of doin either journalism or journalism with a language(irish) in september. Would anyone have any advice about the courses? are they goood, etc. Any other information about DIT would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys :D

I've replied to similar questions re journalism at least twice before on boards - so have a search - there's quite a lot of info out there already. Basically, imho, get a degree in something solid like English, history, philosophy, finance, arts, business, then do a one-year MA in journalism.
