    Hi, I'm heading to Vietnam in April & May.

    We are traveling south to north & I'm specifically looking for recommendations for accommodation in a nice beach area.
    We will prob go to nha trang, hoi an, hui, is there anywhere nice to stay around there? From your personal experiences ?

    I stayed in beautiful beach huts on an island in Thailand last yr, right on the beach, this is the type of thing we are looking for?

    Hi,
    We are just back from Southern Vietnam & Cambodia, but did not head north. We stayed on Phu Quoc island which was lovely. We stayed in beach bungalows at this resort and they were fantastic.

    But it doesn't sound like this is on your route. It was for us because we did a 3 day boat trip along the Mekong Delta, ending up in Can Tho, and then flew from there to Phu Quoc. Flights are only about 30 euro I think.

    I would also check the weather... it get's cooler as you head north. Depends on how hot you like it!

    Have a good trip.

    Thanks for that, that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. We are very flexible where we go while there, so Phu Quoc is still a possibility.

    We went there for our honeymoon last year and stayed here

    could not fault it perfect location, food, staff, rooms {we had a beach room}
    free bicycle hire, free shuttle bus into Hoi An.

    would go back in a heart beat.

    hi, we stayed in bungalows on koh phangan, not fancy now but fab place.
    we went for the full moon party for two nights and ended up staying 5 nights cos we loved the place.

    real laid back, relaxing place.
