Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    they must have just went on donedeal and lost their minds. in fairness a "05 yaris" could go for that money, if it was the mk2 released in 05.

    being a mk1, being an auto and most of all, being a verso really mean its worth half the asking price at a push imo. the front end looks like it's in a knot too.

    All the altezzas were fitted with the yahama beams engine. They were 1k-2.5k last year but prices have come up a bit. Lord knows why, they are horrendously slow.

    All Altezzas weren't fitted with BEAMS. a lot were 6 cylinder like the on the IS200
    There's 2 cylinders and about 50bhp in the difference.

    the vast majority of altezzas (or at least the ones that made it to ireland) are the 4 cylinder 3sge yamaha beams engine although you do see some AS200 6 cylinder 1g engine altezzas with beams engine covers too.

    i think "beams" is just a gimmic anyway, stands for "breakthrough engine with advanced mechanical systems", this was around the same time they were etching "a man in dandism for midship sports" into the rear window on mr2's.

    kitted altezzas with the stones driven out of them seem to be going for €3-4k this weather, stock ones around €2k, you'd get into a tired is200 with a grand.

    Didn't know that, thought the toyotas got the beams and the IS good the 6cyl, I stand corrected! Well the beams has 220bhp but lose a lot of power by the time it gets to the wheels. Nearly bought one before but was very disappointed. As said above though, they go sideways lawd.

    What annoys me more about that ad, is that all three external shots are of the rear drivers side. It's probably a different colour on the other side!
