Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Take everything out you can, you are at damage control tbh. Remove harddrive if you can (be very careful) and definitely remove the battery and unplug. As regards working again, it depends on how much damage the water did. Apparently uncooked rice is great for saving wet mobile phones, I don't know about laptops.

    But definitely, battery out and unplug, to prevent any power surges. Harddrive out if there are important files or any you need to keep. Good luck.

    Desire, Open up the laptop and take everything out. Put it in rice and keep it warm.
    Perhaps nuke certain areas with a hairdrier
