Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    1. Predict the IMT, an average of five selected stations, which has averaged 6.9 C for the 30-yr period just ended in 2010.

    2. Predict the highest daily maximum at any reporting (met.ie) station.

    3. Predict the lowest daily minimum at any reporting (met.ie) station.

    4. Predict the monthly precip as a percentage of normal (for 11 reporting stations in met.ie Monthly Summary)

    5. Predict the monthly sunshine as a percentage of normal (for 6 reporting stations in met.ie Monthly Summary)

    6. Bonus -- Predict the sunshine hours for Shannon on the 17th (0.0 to 11.5h to nearest 0.1h).

    Deadlines for entry ... you have until the end of the day on Thurs 1st of March, to enter without penalty. The actual deadline is set at 0300h on Friday 2nd. Then until 0300h Saturday 3rd, the penalty applies to scores over 60, while on Saturday 3rd last-minute entries are accepted with penalty for scores over 50.

    No penalty, edit as you wish ... I harvest the forecasts after the deadline so I won't miss any edits in posts, later posts of course count and earlier posts are deleted from table (unless I blow it).
