Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

SUSI 3rd level Fee payment Date?

    Does anyone know when SUSI plan on paying 3rd level college fees? I've been approved since the summer and emailed them recently, but no idea when the fees are going to be paid. I cant remember when they were paid last year.

    normally the college and SUSI communicate with each other

    depending on your college though how you inform the college that SUSI have awarded your grant can vary - good place to start would be with your college fee's office

    Im in 3rd year now, I got fees paid the last 2 years by SUSI. I know the college and SUSi contact eachother, but I'm wondering what date roughly fees are going to be paid this year? I cant remember what date it happened last year, but it feels like it is taking longer this year.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?     Thats what I did before I started this thread, I just got a generic copy and pasted response that gave no indication of when the fees whould be paid this year.

    It shouldn't matter to you, once you have an application the college mark you as pending susi in their database, then if you get awarded they sort it out, if you fail to qualify they invoice you.

    Even if SUSI haven't paid them yet, the colleges own deadlines for withdrawal still apply. Only reason I can think of that you'd care.
