Can anyone tell me if this will work as a replacement to an Eircom faceplate?

I have a wireless router with a standard Irish RJ11 and a cordless phone base unit with a BT connection.
Would the wiring be different and does anyone have any advice on wiring it in?

BT sockets are different to Irish ones, eircom has an integrated DSL/Phone faceplate meaning the filter is inside, ask one of the eircom lads in a van next time you see one.

According to the description, it has a built in ADSL filter.

No, that won't work.
British phone wiring and phone plugs are significantly different to the RJ11 connectors used in Ireland.

Also, there's really no great advantage to the DSL splitter plates vs plug-in filters.
There's a lot of 'voodoo' out there about DSL faceplates. In reality, they're just a filter/splitter.

If you want a hard-wired splitter, pick one up from any US webstore.
