Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Ph an average bill would be anywhere between 100 and 200 euro depending on how many you share with and usage. Things like washing machines and dryers cost a little less if used in the evening.

    I don't hate where I live but I don't love it either, but it so cheap I just can't bring myself to move. My rent is really low and I don't pay any utilities. I looked at different types of house shares I could do, where I'm not living with the landlord, but I really don't want to pay the higher rent PLUS bills.

    Sharing isn't great but better than being broke anyway!

    No problem. And remember if you're not using it plug it out or turn it off at the wall. Also turning down thermostats saves energy too.

    yeah thats true just have a sneaking suspcioun its going to be a pain to find somewhere to share even tho im a mature student, once people here the word student it makes people go ick

    Had my little girl at a musical tonight. Was the Wizard of Oz, was performed really, really well and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. She's in bed exhausted now, i'm settling my nerves with a beer! :D
