Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

The body types are looking good, like an evolution of the sci-fi look Honda used on there Civics, all cars in the future will look like these.

They mention a "Touch screen based control system" which is a terrible idea for a car. Not the first manufacturer to talk about it either. You'd think they'd have more sense.

How is a touch screen based control system a terrible idea?

Don't you have to touch regular buttons and switchs anyway. Dont you have to look to see where they are, I don't see the problem.

Really hope that NS4 looks as good in the flesh, alas all prototypes resemble nothing like the final product.
Still won't be buying one though.

Lack of tactical feedback means that you have to take your eyes of the road for a greater amount of time. It's fine in some instances, parking systems etc. but otherwise it's a horrible idea for the majority of car controls.

All the touch screen functions of the last Prius could also be done from the steering wheel, screen was more for passengers.

I presumed they meant the whole car would be controlled by touch screen:o
