The July update has been posted and contains little of interest except the the following.

The Department will publish its draft Intervention Strategy, together with associated expert reports, on 15th July. The Intervention Strategy will set out detailed proposals for the procurement of the NBP state intervention. Seven expert reports, which contain economic, technical and financial analysis that informed the Department’s proposals, will also be published. A public consultation on the proposals will run over the summer months, as is required under EU state aid rules. The Department will consider all responses to the public consultation before finalising the proposed Strategy and commencing the formal Procurement phase of the project.
