Hi Im a Galway based guitarist and singer. Looking for someone who is interested in meeting up and doing out a covers set list with a view to gig in galway starting this summer. Im looking for a guitarist/ fiddle player/ banjo player (or other suitable instrument) who can can accompany and sing also. The person should be dedicated, flexible and have suitable equipment. I play rhythm and lead guitar myself (both electric and acoustic). Some bands and music I would be interested in are the beatles, oasis, irish folk songs, country and western, classic rock songs and Modern pop songs. I have place to practice.

A set List I would be interested in doing would include:

    Sweet Home alabama
    The Gambler-Kenny Rodgers
    Folsom Prison Blues
Stuck in the middle with you-Steelers Wheels
The man who sold the world-(Nirvana/Davis Bowie)
    Talk tonight-Oasis
    Strawberry fields forever-The Beatles
    Norweigen Wood-The Beatles
    Wagon Wheel
    The weight-The band
    Cliffs of doneen (Christy Moore)
Pair of Brown Eyes (The Pogues)
    Bad Moon Rising
    Stand By Me- Oasis
    Damian Alburn-Mr Tembo

I also have 3 origional songs I would be interested in doing

    Nice list of songs!

I have been playing guitar for 11 years. Have 4 electrics and an acoustic and play harmonica too.

Have a kitted out practice room in Galway city.

I could meet up if you want.

    Darren
