About 2 years ago my cholesterol was up slightly. I took one of the plant stanol yogurts and it did come down about ten percent in a few weeks.

Then i found a different stanol yogurt which was cheaper and had slightly more plant stanol. I am now 18 months on but no more change. I am beginning to wonder if the cheaper one has any plant stanol.

I ate lots of fish etc too.

Has anyone ever tried lecithin for cholesterol. I remember being told it reduced it but did not find any evidence. There is evidence for the plant stanols though which is why i wonder if the cheaper one has any plant stanol
