Is this Ford Focus a good deal?

    Hello everyone,

    I'm looking to buy my second ever car (have a 1.1l Peugeot 206 at the moment)and after reading good reviews was thinking of a Ford Focus.

    Do you think this is a good deal:

    Also has anyone had any dealing with Greenogue Autos? They say they are an 'Internet based dealership' with a lock-up facilities.

    Any opinions would be welcomed.

    Zetec "Climate" is a UK spec model and that is low enough mileage for it's age so make sure to scrutenise the service history carefully. By that I mean ring the Ford garages that stamped it to verifty what they said they did. By right it should have been serviced at least once year desite the low mileage. Also run a motorcheck or cartell report in the event it shows up a previous insurance claim for accident or flood damage. Also check that water is not getting into the boot lock via the rear windscreen wiper. Its a common problem on Focus hatchbacks but not an expensive fix. A another sign of this is that the inside of the boot number plate spot lights will have water lodged in them.

    Spec wise the Zetec "Climate" is almost identical to the standard Zetec that was sold here as in it has a/c, heated front windscreen, sports seats and suspension as well as 16" alloy wheels. It says it has bluetooth so if it is factory fitted bluetooth then that is a nice extra to have. If it checks out and you are not trading your old car against it I would pay around €4800 max for it as it is nearly 8 years old soon.
