Having an issue that i cant seem to solve where a lot of my fish huddle in the corner of the tank when the light is on as if the are stressed. When I turn it off they're grand.

I only noticed this happen after my juwel light bulb went and I bought an aftermarket one. However I was told by another pet store that it was the wrong type and I was sold a different one (more purple/pink effect) but the problem still persists.

What kind of fish are you keeping?

Certain fish simply don't like bright lighting. Some can be trained to become accustomed to it by increasing the duration you're leaving the tank lit for gradually.
