Second hand plasma

So a few years ago I used to own a panny plasma. I had nothing but problems with it and sold it for various reasons. Anyway when it was working well it was superb.

I recently went back into the big TV scene again but this time a samsung 42" LED. Altough reviews were good and I knew it wouldn't be as good as my old plasma but I have to say it's worse than I was expecting. It's not like it's terrible like some LG or Phillips units I've seen it's just that it never really "wows" even when watching high quality content on BBC HD channels for example or blu-rays.

I see a guy selling a 46" panny plasma from 2010, a G20. Considering that my LED has some good advantages like no buzzing, no heat, extremely lite, extremely thin AND I have a htpc so used as a monitor - would I be crazy after all that to grab the panny anyway ? I think I can get it for 400 euro !
