Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Is a GameCube and 4 games worth €190

    in Computer World here in Wexford they have a gamecube and 4 games for €190, was just wondering is it worth me getting it out of the money i got for christmas.

    well if you think about it you can get a gamecube for 119 + one game so for 71 euros you get 3 more games and normally a gamecube game retails at about 50/60 euros.

    it would depend what games they are too

    tis a fine console, worth buying for metroid prime alone...

    go for the double dash pack if you can, chances are that the 4 games you get given with the offer you mentioned are crap.
    plus you'll get the zelda bonus disk. :(
    you're supposed to get the zelda disk with vanilla gc packages, i don't think you do if they're old stock though... (i was promised one in the shop i got mine in, they ended up giving me mario sunshine for free instead.)

    If pikmins involved then definitely buy it, it's worth the €190 on its own just too see the magnificent bolt........

    a gamecube does offer the best ratio of top class games to utter drivel of any console. looking at my pile i would recommend the following(im sure ive done this before :\)

    I'll sell you my gamecube (platinum) with 2 gamepads, memory card, zelda, ssx tricky, tony hawk 4, rogue leader, and metroid prime for 200 snots.

    i'm only selling it coz i want an xbox for online gaming. tis a great console.
