Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Child Benefit & not in country

    I'm working with some students who are all returning to their homecountries over the Summer and their mothers are wondering are they legally allowed keep their child benefit even though the children will be eleven/twelve weeks in Poland?

    They should be able to do this but you have to pull some string to get it to work. You probably wont be able to get help here tho this is probably the wrong place for it. Follow on the trolls who will take their morale high ground....

    Most have already gone, handed in letters to school and we've had to hand them to the EWO...

    AFAIK once the parent is still resident in Ireland they can claim Child Benefit once their child is under 18.
