Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

speech problem software for children?

    im hoping ive the correct forum lads.
    a nephew of mine .
    i heard a lady in crumlin hospital. over heard actualy hehehe
    software the kid can type and it speaks for the kid ? true untrue . expensive ?
    id like to sort out somthing to make his life a little better or more natural for him...

    Search "Text To Speech" there will be a lot of software (not too expensive or even free) available for a laptop/phone/tablet.

    Such software exists on most, if not all, Windows Operating Systems.

    Searching for text-to-speech on your PC should bring something up that's free, although it sounds like Stephen Hawking.

    On Windows 8 its called narrator for some reason..
