Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    hi,lads i have a 07 ford smax cut out yesterday and pushed started to get home had a look this morning seems coolant had leaked on to the starter and solenoid have dried them best i could but she wont start well i havent found the leak either just wondering is the starter goosed r will it dry out ,thanks

    Push-starting not recommended as it can fubar the catalytic convertor.

    What engine is in it and what mileage is on it?

    Did it cut out while driving or fail to start having been parked?

    What exactly is it doing at the moment when you try to start it?

    sorry cudnt get back to ye sooner thanks for the replies its a 1.8 td sent it to mechanics just waiting damage report thanks again
