hi, i need some quick advice,

i need to buy 2 laptops, i'm looking at the vostros having seen all the good things about them here recently.

Is there much noticeable difference between the TK55 and the TL60 processors? (1 is for general home use now + the other is for a student with photoshop sometimes to be used) i'm thinking same spec on both will be fine as i can prob haggle a few quid off.

im definitely going for 2gb of ram.

    THANKS!

As with Centrino , Viiv , etc etc , marketing is causing a lot of confusion here ,

Vostros are a notebook from Dell that can have either an AMD or an Intel CPU , the speclists are here , you would be better making a choice from those lists,

The Best processors available at the moment are any flavour of Core2duo , and if you want to do anything other than business apps on it then you'll want to stay away from integrated graphics and aim for a geforce go , and yes 2GB ram is ideal as they all come with Vista , Get Vista home premium if possible , as you are a home user you may find that Vista business is a bit crippled with it having no media center and all.
