Just approaching 48 hours without sleep now, no particular reason. Is there anything thats particularly fun to do when youre slightly insomniac? Apart from sleep, that is....

A good honest to goodness sex session where you go at it hammer and tongs should get you to drift off nicely.

Play Silent Hill with no lights on at night.

I tend to browse boards / play a computer game like tetris or flight of the hamsters or anything.
Learn words in a different language
Catalogue your books / dvd/ music collection
    Read
    Organise photos
    Midnight shopping in tescos perhaps

Hallucinate. Go for a walk in the dead of night when it's so lovely and peaceful and stare at things until they start to take form.

Take drugs... A whole load of uppers and downers.

In for a penny in for a pound I say!

Forget drugs. If you stay up another 24 hours you should begin to hallucinate.

Day 3 on is when things get really fun. Try operating heavy machinery.

Or go down to the headshop and get some of them silverbullets. No matter what you do there's no hope of sleeping for the next two days. You may go completely mad though.

Silver Bullets contain like 150-200mg BZP.

    Avoid at all costs IMO.

    Is this true?

BZP is muck. Pure unadulterated muck. If your going to do drugs do the illigal variety, their the only fun kinds.

Go for gold and try for the 72 hour mark, sleep deprevation is great craic altogether at that stage.

Yup, 72 hours of sleep deprevation should produce some sort of delusion/altered perception, if not hallucinations.
