Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Indefinitely !!! So sorry PC players. you have to wait another.... eh.... day ? Week ? Weeks ? Who the **** knows.

    Im lost for words here. Just when you think DICE can't possibly **** up the release of content anymore... they go and pull this dousey out the bag.

    Fair enough, if they want to delay the release to ""Ensure the best quality"" thats fine. But telling us basically 3 hrs before the launch is a slap in the face.

    Heres the full post on blog:
    "On March 25, Battlefield 4 Premium members on consoles will be able to experience the ultimate sea-to-sea warfare in the third expansion pack for Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 Naval Strike takes the intense and dramatic water-based combat introduced in Battlefield 4 to four all-new maps set in the South China Sea while introducing a new game mode and vehicle.

    However, we are delaying the launch of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC. We’ve detected an issue and it needs to be solved. Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible. Once we have a confirmed date for PC, we’ll be sure to update those players on our official channels. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing everyone on the Battlefield."

    I'm scratching my head here to think of reasons for this indefinite delay ! What the fukc could of gone so drastically wrong ? Any ideas ?

    Please vent your frustrations here :P

    I think ill buy the new insurgency game on steam **** it.

    Emm ok if you say so but why only is it now that Dice/Ea decide to do what they should have done all along?
    :confused: :mad:

    Its annoying yes but no point giving us something that messes up the game even more.
    I think they really should focus on making the game run with the minimum amount of bugs instead of making it look pretty in the first place.

    Just turned on Origin and its downloading Naval strike and pop up says Naval Strike is go..

    Maps are very samey and conquest assault is odd.

    Much happier with Naval Strike than the previous DLC. No AA vehicles on most of the maps so much more rock/paper/scissors on the air & boats side of things. Decent cover to hide from the Attack boats which is something that I was worried about.

    Carrier Assault is like Conquest with a 2 stage Rush section.
    Normal Rush levels are as usual dependant on how good the teams are.
