im wondering is their any 4*4 out there that is rust proof underneath from factory?? I travel the shoreline daily and am looking for a run around that I will get a considerable length out of. Any hints or tips?

For that I'd pick up a defender and rust proof it yourself. Give it a good steam clean first. I think the vw amorak is pretty good. None of the Japs have great rustproofing. Have a pajero myself and meant to do it this summer. Might get at it before the winter of we get a good spell.
Not a huge fan of that waxoyl stuff. I got some bilt hamber underseal waiting to be applied. Got good reviews
