    Hi all,

I use our heating an Ideal Mini S24 during the summer to heat water for showers etc by turning down the stats on the zone valves and opening the heating loop on the cylinder fully. I notice that the boiler runs up to temp stops for about 3 mins and then fires again for 60 - 90 secs.

These seems a little too frequent for me. I found the manual and am thinking of upping the anticycling timeout. Should I do it? If so what time should I set it too?

The old analogue timer failed last year and I replaced it with a Siemens RWB29 with CH and HW timers. I've only wired it to run CH but the live feed for the stats is fed to the boiler so am wondering if its possible to wire it to control both? It's a pain if someone turns up a stat and then there's no hot water in the morning. I've a switched live for the boiler, circulating pump and stats.

    Thanks in advance!

So I set the anti cycle time to 5 minutes by this time the water returning has dropped to 40C and I set the boiler to cut out at 75C now it runs for about 10 mins before reaching temp. Does this sound ok?

Any ideas on controlling CH and HW?
