    Drool!

Be sure to go into a bit of detail for the WC novices like myself. I'm tempted to try it but a nice, up to date, boards guide would be handy.

Is there a reason for the one push two pull fans on the radiator?

Also, what does that building say in the background? Mitsubishi Whiskey Refrigerator??? :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,874 ✭✭✭✭PogMoThoin

no you can see the one on the left is blowing down, the fins are pointing in the opposite direction.

Can I ask, what kind of RPM's will those fans be running at? IMO the main reason for Watercooling is to make a machine cool as good as air but generate less noise. Won't those 3 fans out on top not be making a lot of noise?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,227 ✭✭✭awhir

not really as they will most likly be running in 7v

there yate loons and there great fans btw,the ones I have blow 70.5 CFM@ 33 dBA which isnt bad for 3.5e a fan.

also from what i read them and syths are ment to be the best for rad because of the pressure bla bla bla :D

Had few hours up wit Andy 2day (sorry i'm doing an Anti as i had only my k800i fone wit me), Andy has better ones but he's gone out for the night.

    The water block

    dsc00157kf6.jpg

The res mounted on motherboard tray

The pump mounted on the bottom of case
    dsc00160xn7.jpg

The tubing loop including my 6800gt until he gets his gt rma'd
    dsc00161qp3.jpg

And finally, filled with water for leak testing
    dsc00163gb9.jpg

Gotta say, Andy has some job done on the case, gonna be some rig when finished. I loved the way he sleeved all fan cables & he also did a nice job of spraying the inside of the case.
