Good news for Liffey Valley folk....a major expansion of the place is planned...

    http://www.irishtimes.com/business/commercial-property/liffey-valley-plans-major-extension-and-ice-rink-1.2524205

This will be a huge new draw for the area...

The scale of the project is admirable....

The owners of Liffey Valley shopping centre in west Dublin have submitted a planning application for a major extension of the complex to include an ice skating arena and up to 60 new shops.

The application, devised by the centre’s manager and co-owner, Hines Ireland, also seeks permission for 1,800 car parking spaces, as well as the development of a major plaza under a glazed canopy.

There is also a major committment to improving Public Transport Links and facilities.....It's just I cannot find it at the moment...I'm sure it must be here somewhere.....sigh...

Oh well....most likely the present state-of-the-art Bus facilities will be reallocated to the new outer perimiter....;)

The likes of a "Bus Station" probably represents a form of heresy to the Hines Group, sometimes one would wonder if this sort of thing should be left to outsiders to plan and implement....

    How to find us
Located in the heart of Nottingham city centre with great transport links, finding intu Victoria Centre is easy. Come by car and you'll have no trouble parking with parking for 2,700 cars as well as disabled and family spaces available. If you're coming by bus, we have our own bus station. By train, the nearest station is Nottingham and from here it's a leisurely 15 minute walk to the centre.

Perhaps more importantly, the Bus using customer has a weatherproofed waiting area which the Bus enters....

Bizzarre stuff, and certainly NOT going to be offered to Liffey Valley's far more robust Bus Using Customers....

    Transport For Ireland.......?

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
