Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

The release date for Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 is the 14th October 2011. Thank you for being so patient and I hope you enjoy the game.     The game will come with the latest patch "built in". For those who imported, it appears the big patch will be released before the game releases in Europe. Possibly in the next week.

    Can't wait for this game!!!

    Guy in Gamestop told me today that their confirmed release date is the 7th not 14th of October. Dunno if he is wrong or not just passing on what I was told.

    hey, did u get it for ps3 or xbox360?

    there is a 'project novo' for ps3, ill pull out the link if ur on ps3?

    go to edit teams to transfer the players manually - mess around with it, its always to best way to learn... if you have already done that and are still having trouble let me know and i'll give some details.

    Yep on PS3-did the Irish team-took me about 30 mins! Link would be great

    Im on xbox myself and i've changed all the teams to the real ones. Its pretty sweet for the South african teams cause all of the players names are already in the commentary.

    To change player teams you just go into the actual team and select to swap a player and find the one you want in the team. It takes a while to do all the international teams!

    So is this worth getting when it comes out? My excitement for the game has died down a bit due to the late release date. Was gonna hold off on Fifa 12 and get this, but since i can only afford the one for now, would I be better off just getting Fifa or is it worth the wait??

    has there been any further update on when this is actually being released? I read somewhere the 14th was confirmed but that gamestop were stating the 7th which is friday.

    Gamestop saying friday, Game and HMV in UK saying 7th. Wait and see tomorrow but wouldn't get the hopes up.

    I'd rather get a game that was a good game released late than a cock-up released early/on-time. Of course, that's me assuming that the reason for the lateness is getting the game right, rather than anything else.

    Or have they just cocked it up?

    I got a copy off eBay. It's a pretty good game IMO. Way better than the RWC one (granted that wouldn't be hard). Easily a 8/10 if you are a rugby fan. Maybe deduct a point if you aren't. Game has a few bugs alright although the European release comes with the two patches released for it already on the disc.

    RWC is ok, quite limited though. Good laugh with 2 players and a few cans though :D

    I'm on about the Game website, I only saw the devs website when I went looking to see why it hadn't been released on the date Game had.
