Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Enamel for hard plastic bath....

    Hi folks not sure if this is in the right place but here goes....two cracks have appeared under the handle in the bath and im afraid of water leaking down :eek:..Ive heard a enamel type product is available for sealing up these baths.. Just wondering has anyone ever used this stuff and if its hard to apply...And where it can be got...cheers in advance folks!!

    You can get it in B&Q. I've fixed a shower tray with it. Cant remember what ot's called but it was in the plumbing section.

    If the cracks have appered under the handle then chances are the area is subject to a lot of stress. This means any enamel product will again crack. But yes there is a lot of plastic repair kits.

    But imo they are useless.

    You can try a specialist repair company but i would not hold my breath.
